We were asked to design a boy's bedroom for the annual Pasadena Showcase House. The vintage quality of the home made us think of Wes Anderson and his film Moonrise Kingdom, so this became our inspiration for the style. We wanted to create a magical and sensory environment inspired full of curious objects, quirky art, boy scout motifs, atmospheric wallpaper, and images of nature.
